Rent collection can be seamless, as long as you have the right systems and support in place. At RENEW Real Estate Services, we make it easy for tenants to pay on time, and even easier for you to get paid.

If rent isn't received within the lease's grace period, we step in right away with a formal late notice and apply applicable late fees. Most tenants have a plan and we will work with them to find a solution to get rent paid. This may include working with local assistance organizations to help them get caught up. Tenants who fail to communicate a payment plan will be issued a 3-Day Pay-or-Quit notice, effectively their final warning. If a tenant stops paying and communicating altogether, we're ready to assist with the eviction process and work quickly to re-rent the property with minimal downtime.

To encourage timely payments, we offer tenants 24/7 access to an online portal where they can pay rent anytime with an ACH eCheck, or credit card. We also have a 3rd party provider, FLEX, who can provide an option to help them get the rent paid on time if money is temporarily tight. Tenants can also pay their rent with cash at local businesses like Walmart, CVS and 7-Eleven using a unique scannable barcode issued to them upon move-in. These convenient options means faster rent processing and faster owner payouts to you.
